Pipes and fittings DAVAN FLOWTEK are the main structural elements of pipelines – oil, gas, heating, water, sewer. The modern level of development of engineering communications allows the use of both metal pipes and fittings, and plastic. The choice of materials is dictated by the design characteristics – the scope of application, technical feasibility, operating conditions and cost factor.

For external pipelines, especially large diameter, steel and cast iron pipes are most often used. Plastic pipes with a diameter from 16 to 63 mm are increasingly used for indoor wiring. These are polymer and metal polymer pipes made of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene and polypropylene. Such pipes can withstand main pressure up to 10 bar, temperature up to 110 0C, they are lightweight, durable and not subject to corrosion. Plastic pipeline with properly selected materials and competent laying will last at least half a century.

Fittings, or shaped parts, are called connecting elements of pipelines. They are necessary when turning and branching pipes, transitions from one pipe diameter to another, connecting pipes made of different materials. There are different types of pipe connections that depend primarily on the purpose of the pipeline.
